

One of the Oldest Delaware Race Cars Comes Home!
Sometimes you do not find the race cars, they find you! Such was the case with this 1937 Ford. Originally driven by "Speedy" Jester in the 1950's the car went through a chain of owners throughout it's life and ended up with Billy Towers and painted as the #2. The car was then used in the 1976 Warner Brothers movie "Greased Lightning". Bandit Chassis saved and on the way to restoration!
A 1987 Bandit Chassis was saved today by a great group of people. A special thanks goes out to Robert Daisy and his crew for all their help. Stored for years this chassis was the give away chassis for winning the 1987 Modified Championship at Bridgeport Speedway. When the #3 Banks owned Modified driven by Bobby Wilkins won the Championship the car stayed close to home. Built by Walt Breeding the car had many unique features and the design won Championships at both Bridgeport
