Project #141 enters the Culver Auto Racing Museum

The #141 Ford of the late Jim Reed took its place in the Culver Auto Racing Museum this past week! We would like to thank Jaqueline Reed and the Reed family for trusting us to preserve this treasured car. We plan on displaying the car at the museum and running it at some exhibition events in the near future. The car was in good shape when we received it, however, after sitting for many years the 141 needed a thorough mechanical going through and a full detail. We would like to thank Ken Covey of Seaford, De for sourcing some new wheels and tires which will use for track time and Cox Garage in Smithfield, NC who helped with the engine work on the car. We could not have completed this project without them! We look forward to preserving Jim's car and his memory! The museum plans on displaying and running this car during track time at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing event later in the Summer in which Mario Andretti will be the Grand Marshall!
