Culver Auto Racing Museum Receives Gift from Legendary Modified Driver John Kozak.

John Kozak is a legend among Modified racers! His record in Delaware is impressive with Multiple Championships between Georgetown and Delaware International Speedway. Kozak won 44 races at DIS, winning the Camp Barnes race three years in a row. Kozak also was DIS Track Champion in 1979 and won the Diamond State Championship Race twice. The Culver Auto Racing Museum is honored to have his 1978 Leroy Silvas built chassis as part of our museum. This historic car was graciously donated to the museum by John Kozak himself. This excellent and unique example of Modified racing will now be on display in the museum for all to enjoy. The chassis features a coil over rear suspension with a cantilever front set up. It was a great day to spend some time with John and hear many of his racing stories. John is a humble and laid back guy who can rightfully take his place among the giants of Modified racing. The museum thanks John and his family for their generous donation and trusting the Culver Auto Racing Museum to preserve the car for future generations.
