2014 Concours d'Elegance at Pinehurst

The Musser Missile was reunited with its former owner, driver, and builder, Calvin Musser on May 3rd at the Concours d'Elegance at Pinehurst. The Modified was one of the 119 selected cars to be shown on the fairway of the legendary golf course. It was an honor and privilege to have the 1975 Tobias race car recognized by some of the world's leading car experts as a car of significance. To my knowledge, this was the first time a Northeast style Modified has been invited to a Concours! The reaction from the crowd and judges was amazing. Everyone had a true appreciation for those who built and drove these cars. Pictured left to right are: Oliver Wall, who helped with the rebuilding of the car's unique 301ci engine, Chad Culver, current owner and caretaker of the Musser Missile and Calvin Musser, the original owner, builder and driver of the car.
